Are you interested in a particular area of diving? Maybe you’ve always dreamed of exploring a shipwreck, or wonder what it’s like to dive once the sun has gone down. PADI Adventure dives focus on a particular aspect of diving, so you can learn from an instructor the specific techniques required for different circumstances.
If you don’t have the time to complete the entire PADI Advanced Open Water course, you can take individual adventure dives and receive credit for doing them. When you collect 5 adventure dives you will qualify for the Advanced licence (deep dive and underwater navigation are compulsory for this certification). Adventure dives we offer at Leisure Dive Center include:
AWARE Fish Identification
Multilevel and Computer Diving
Peak Performance Buoyancy
Search and Recovery
Underwater Digital Photography
The most popular Adventure dive is the Deep dive, which involves reading the corresponding chapter in the PADI Adventures in Diving manual and answering the knowledge review questions. Then one of our instructors will take you on a dive to 30 metres, explaining to you the considerations needed when making a dive deeper than 18 metres and also conducting a few short exercises during the dive. Afterwards, they will issue you a Adventure Dive completion record sheet which you may attach into your logbook, allowing you to do deep dives from that point onwards. If you ever wish to complete the rest of the Advanced Open Water course, you can use this dive as credit towards the course so you only need to complete 4 additional dives.
Special offer for Adventure Night Dive
Join our new sunset dive trip and turn the second dive into an Adventure Night dive for only B500 extra (total price B4250) ! You will need to read a short chapter on night diving and answer a few questions, and then conduct the night dive with a PADI instructor.
