Bida Nai

Bida Nai is a small (uninhabited) island located around 50 minutes boat ride from Leisure Dive Center.  This site along with neighboring island Bida Nok is one of the top dive sites in Thailand.  Swim around the island and drift along the 30m deep wall in the north, or between the pinnacles and swim-throughs running down the west coast.  Follow the huge patch of stag horn coral leading to ‘fantasy reef’, a colourful and pristine reef between 14-30 metres.

Large schools of barracuda can often be seen as well as the resident school of yellow snappers which stay around the pinnacles and above the stag horn coral.  Leopard sharks are often seen in the sand patches and black tip sharks can be seen swimming past you on your safety stop.  During high season keen eyed divers can search in the cracks in the wall for ghost pipefish, cleaner shrimp and seahorses.
