Hin Bida (also known as Phi Phi Shark Point) is located south east of the Bida islands, approximately 1 hour boat ride from Leisure Dive Center on Laemtong beach. The tip of this underwater pinnacle breaks the surface only at low tide and this site is only suitable to dive in little or no current and flat sea conditions.
This large site descends to a maximum depth of 25 metres and offers large schools of fish and interesting creatures such as reef octopus, moray eels and of course leopard sharks. It is also possible to even see whalesharks and eagle rays passing by!
Current: Mild – Moderate
This trip usually departs from Laemtong beach at 9 am and we return at 2.30 pm. It is normally combined with a second dive at Bida Nok or Bida Nai island.
